Now 6, 'Baby Izaiah' slowly making progress

Power Plate was mentioned in an article in the San Diego Union Tribune. The story revolves around Izaiah, a six year old little boy who was hit by a drunk driver in 2010, and his rehabilitation process to walk again. Part of that rehabilitation process involves the use of Power Plate at the Project Walk Paralysis Recovery Center in Carlsbad, CA. There is also a picture of Izaiah suspended in a body harness in a standing position with his feet on Power Plate. Although he isn’t able to move his legs independently, the passive exercise on Power Plate trains his muscles and neural pathways for when that might happen.
