Your Path to a Successful Paddle Tennis Season
Power Plate is featured in the Health and Fitness section of the September/October issue of Platform Tennis Magazine, in an article titled "Your Path to a Successful Paddle Tennis Season". The article is written by Power Plate Master Trainer John Sitt and walks readers through how the use of Power Plate can help any paddle tennis participant lower the rick of injury and improve on-court athletic performance.
The piece also shows demonstrations of pre-season, in-season, post-season, and off-season exercises by Jane McNitt (paddle professional at Michigan Shores Club and Lake Shore Country Club in Illinois) and Sally Jones (Director of Top Seed Paddle Camp).
In addition, theres a great quote by Dane Schmidgall (Director of Racquet Sports at Evanston Golf Club) - "In 2014, I sprained my ankle pretty severely during a paddle tournament. It was swollen and I could hardly walk after being in a boot for several days. With Nationals two weeks away I assumed it was not possible to play given my current state. After seeing John three times a week for treatment using the Power Plate, all the swelling had gone downed I had my range of motion back. Just 11 days later, I was back on the court competing both in the President’s Cup and Nationals in Pittsburgh."
You may or may not be aware that we have developed specific "Club Sports" programming that works in the my7 to be used in a country club setting. The software was specifically designed for paddle tennis, but also features additional programs for golf and tennis. In addition, it includes quick start buttons (2 pre-workout and 2 post-workout) similar to the FitStop programming.
