Whole Body Vibration Exercise Protocol versus a Standard Exercise Protocol after ACL Reconstruction: A Clinical Randomised Controlled Trial with Short Term Follow-Up.

A randomised controlled study of 40 patients following ACL reconstruction with one group using whole body vibration and another using traditional post operative exercise showed no difference in outcomes despite a 50% reduction in time spent exercising with whole body vibration, suggesting a significantly more efficient training approach with whole body vibration. In addition, the whole body vibration group showed significantly better results in the stability test.
